NCC Saskatchewan: Introduction to Prescribed Fire Workshop

Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada, along with partners from the CPPFE and Meewasin, in an engaging one-day workshop that introduces and explore the practicalities and science of prescribed fire as a management tool for the benefit of livestock management on the grasslands.

There will be presentations from the CPPFE, Government of Saskatchewan, the Aberdeen Community Pasture, as well as staff members from NCC in attendance. Come meet and engage with fellow land managers in the southwest sandhills and grasslands!

Refreshments and lunch will be provided. There is a hotel room block set aside at The Coast hotel under "Nature Conservancy of Canada" until January 30, 2026.
